Broker's is a brand with personality and playfulness. Creators Martin and Andy Dawson chose the image of a bowler-hatted gentlemen - an archetypal stockbroker - to reflect the fact that historically England is the home of gin. Broker's is a seriously good gin with a quirky marketing approach. Broker's Gin is made in a 200-year-old distillery in the heart of England using a traditional copper pot-still. The recipe is as old as the distillery. A quadruple-distilled pure grain spirit made from English wheat is redistilled with ten traditional botanicals, creating a gin of outstanding flavour and smoothness. Broker's Gin does not follow the modern trend of using weird and wonderful spirits and botanicals. There are no oddball ingredients in Broker's Gin. We believe our forefathers did an unbeatable job perfecting gin recipes over many hundreds of years. Broker's Gin has won more top awards in international competitions over the last ten years than any other gin. Broker's truly is . THE WORLD'S BEST GIN.
The Bruichladdich Scottish Barley The Classic Laddie has been craftet from individually selected casks to showcase the classic, floral and elegant Bruichladdich house style. Unpeated, it is Bruichladdich's signature bottling. Made from 100% Scottish barley, trickle distilled, then matured for its entire life by the shores of Lochindaal in premium American oak.
Hints of salt reinforce the coastal feel. Dry smoke, salted caramel and apple sauce. Then lemon drops, boiled sweets and ground white pepper. The smoke is light on the palate, tar and charcoal rather than medicinal phenols. Towards the finish and the light gentle spirit has an edge of floral sea breeze, marine and refreshing. The sweetness of the oak and the barley are matched beautifully by the dry peat smoke. Islay grown, the barley seems more distinct and brings through the peach and apple typical of our spirit. ABV: 50%
"Our Port Charlotte Islay Barley expressions are a direct embodiment of everything an Islay whisky can and should be. Not only is it conceived, distilled, matured and bottled on the island, but the barley harvest for this 2013 vintage was also raised on our home shores in 2012 by seven of our Islay farming partners. "
The spirit has a unique royal origin, with many of its citrus and herbal notes sourced from botanicals gathered in the Buckingham Palace Gardens. Lemon verbena, hawthorn berries and mulberry leaves are among the 12 botanicals hand-picked for the gin in the Gardens at Buckingham Palace, which span 16 hectares and provide a habitat for 30 species of bird and over 250 species of wild flower. This glass bottle has a truly sensational design, featuring a spectacular circular motif entwined with illustrations of the botanicals found in this citrus based gin.
