To achieve this whisky's wondrous cascade of taste, Glenmoranige draw on their epic array of casks. And so this freewheeling single malt comes to life, with swirling aromas of pear and vanilla setting the stage for rich orange sherbet and fudge. X by Glenmorangie is wonderful mixed with any flavour you choose (and as you'd expect, it is also delicious neat).
Matured only in sherry seasoned oak casks and bottled at natural colour. With a character of vanilla, shortbread and lemon peel. A delicate and subtle style single malt. ABV: 40%
A combination of ten vintages from Glenrothes, using whiskies that are said to some of the finest examples of their individual vintages. The first release was made up of whiskies from 1989 (said to offer dried fruit and oak notes), 1992, 1997, 1998 (over a quarter of the vatting with plenty of vanilla), 2000, 2001, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 (bringing uplifting citrus elements).
