Stoneleigh Wild Valley Pinot Noir 750ml

Moderately deep ruby-red colour, paler on edge with slight purple hues. The nose is softly full with good depth of bright, primary fruit aromas of dark raspberries and black cherry fruit, along with subtle layers of funky minerally reduction, oak char, and jam and confectionary whole berry fermentation notes. Medium-full bodied, this has a tight core of raspberryish fruit with herbal nuances along with an interwoven thread of minerals, reduction and charry oak, with spice elements and confectionary. The mouthfeel features a firm, grainy tannin line and soft, balanced acidity that carries the wine to a dry-textured finish. This is a youthfully firm Pinot Noir with raspberry fruit flavours, nuances of minerals and toasty oak and jam. Serve with pasta, barbecued meats and casseroles over the next 3-4 years.
