A new Central Otago star is born. Bright ruby/purple in the glass, the palate is full of black cherries, smoky oak and gamey characters. Already a delicious Pinot Noir but there are years of cellaring ahead. Another top effort from Champion Winemaker Matt Connell. Awards: Trophy for Champion Pinot Noir - New Zealand International Wine Show, Trophy for best Central Pinot Noir - International Wine Challenge 2022, Trophy for best New Zealand Red Wine - International Wine Challenge 2022, GOLD and 96 Points - International Wine Challenge 2022
McGuigan Black Label Merlot is a soft and flavoursome wine with ripe fruit flavours of raspberry, cherry and plums. This is nicely integrated with the subtle oak characters of toasty spice and vanilla.
This Estate Merlot Cabernet has rich aromas of crushed raspberries, blackberries and boysenberries. The palate is bright, fresh, juicy and vibrant with a fine grained tannin giving drive long into the finish.
The Gaia Project wines reflect Mission's sustainability journey so far. Sourced from their Cable Station Road vineyard in the Awatere sub-region of Marlborough, this delicious Pinot Noir is expressive and vibrant. Bursting with an abundance of juicy cherry and plum character; forest fruits and floral notes are beautifully balanced with delicate cedar and a soft texture.
